Let’s get a little more in depth. Many of you have asked about the photo on “How to Double Cuff”, originally posted by Free/Man. See it here.
Free Man Brand writes:
…double cuff allows more control over the length and depth of cuff, relative to how much you want to shorten your pants, to a regular cuff. Also it lets you show the hem of the jeans…
Here’s a very short and super simple step-by-step:
1) Have your denim uncuffed and ready to be cuffed (you can do this while wearing your jeans, it is probably better as you can gauge the length more accurately):
2) Make a big cuff:
3) Cuff the cuff:
4) Make some adjustments, almost there (be sure to cuff so that the denim will lie right under the hem so you can show-off the stitching!):
5) Clean it up and repeat on the other pant leg. Congratulations, you have successfully created a double cuff.
Simple!
Again, with this kind of cuff you have the ability to control the height/width of the cuff as well as the length of the pant without having to hem or hide the hem! This beautiful selvedge brought to you by Tellason.
WHAT.
